Catalog description

Over the course of this seminar, teacher candidates will develop foundational skills in designing and implementing accessible, culturally responsive assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and progress and support diverse learners. They will apply high-leverage practices to create positive, equitable learning environments, reflecting critically on their classroom experiences to understand and support all learners. Emphasis is placed on using evidence-based strategies to make informed instructional adaptations in real-time. Candidates will begin building reflective practices to assess their own effectiveness and impact in the classroom.
