Catalog description
This third course of a three-semester course sequence s taken during the second full-year of supervised clinical work. An educational experience that allows students to continue to develop a professional identity and translate the knowledge and theory of clinical science into practical clinical skills with increasing sophistication, while they provide direct assessment, consultation, and treatment services to children, adolescents, families, and/or adults in community-based externship placements. In this course, students receive case consultation with an emphasis on discussion of professional roles, responsibilities, ethical issues, more complex clinical quandaries, and problems that are faced during student externship experiences.
