Catalog description

This is the second course in the measurement/statistics/research methodology progression. The purpose of this course is for students to develop a keen understanding of research design and the skills necessary for the implementation of a research project. In particular, students become familiar with issues, concepts, and procedures in clinical efficacy and effectiveness research, including single-case experimental design. An expanded consideration of the ethics of research, IRB requirements and APA style of data reporting and manuscript writing are included. Students also gain experience with manuscript reviewing
