Catalog description

This course provides students with basic competencies in the practical application of psychometrics and the selection, administration, scoring and interpretation of individually administered tests of intelligence, achievement, and executive function. The Wechsler scales are highlighted. Issues of theory, research, clinical utility and ethics are addressed. Special attention is given to issues relating to culturally sensitive assessment methodology.
