Periodontics I

Catalog description

This lecture course is an introductory course in Periodontology. Students will be taught the normal anatomy and function of the periodontium as well as the etiology and pathogenesis of periodontal diseases and conditions. Students will also be instructed on how to assess risk for periodontal disease and the relationship between periodontal disease and systemic disease.
