Clinical Oral Radiology and Interpretation

Catalog description

This course instructs the student on the proper technique in capturing diagnostic-quality radiographs. This is a hands-on course taught in the Radiology Simulation Lab with manikins simulating patients. Each group exercise involves a pair of students taking bitewing, anterior periapical, and posterior periapical radiographs. After taking the radiographs, students must complete a self-assessment to determine the correctness of each radiograph.
