Catalog description

(Only for students enrolled at the Manhattan campus) Students are instructed in the process and management of normal pregnancy, obtaining an obstetrical history and physical, labor and delivery, and their associated complications. Clinical manifestations, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of common gynecological problems such as sexually-transmitted illnesses, menstrual disorders, and neoplasms are considered. Patient education is stressed as a crucial part of the management plan.
