Catalog description

This course provides the student with an integrated understanding of human body functions, and the functional anatomy, structure and organization of the nervous system. The brain is studied from a gross point of view, in sections, and also using a systems approach. Relevant problem-solving is incorporated into the course as students hypothesize about the effect of body system dysfunction on performance.
