Linear Algebra for Computer Science Major

Catalog description

While Traditional Linear Algebra courses are focusing on systems of linear equations. This course focuses on topics applied in Neural Networks, Error-correcting Codes, and Computer Graphics. Standard material on finite dimensional vector spaces, linear transformations and matrix algebra is nevertheless covered. Having taken this course, the students should be able to pursue a bachelor level dissertation / honors project on computer generated graphics or machine learning.
