Catalog description

This course covers New York residential housing law. In addition to basic landlord/tenant law, topics covered will include rent control, evictions, rent strikes, housing discrimination, and federally subsidized housing. The last third of the course will focus on access to justice issues in the courts,with particular focus on housing issues and landlord/tenant disputes.
