Catalog description

Contracts II covers the scope of the parties’ contractual duties (what the contract requires of the parties, i.e., parole evidence, interpretation, warranties, conditions, and promises),defenses to performance, (impracticability and frustration of purpose) the consequences of a breach of those duties (possible remedies and determination of damages), and the rights and obligations of those who are not parties to the contract (third parties). The course integrates coverage of the common law and relevant provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code Article 2 with respect to transactions involving goods.
