Catalog description

Contracts I covers the requirements to form a contract (offer, acceptance, and consideration) and the defenses (statute of frauds, mistake, unconscionability, duress, undue influence, misrepresentation, and incapacity) that can be raised to avoid liability under what would otherwise be an enforceable contract. The course integrates coverage of the common law and relevant provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code Articles 1and 2 with respect to transactions involving goods.
