Practical Legal Analysis I (PLA I) provides students with the analytical, writing, and organizational skills necessary to master the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) portion of the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE). Students will become thoroughly familiar with the format and components of the MPT portion of the UBE. Students will have numerous opportunities throughout the semester to submit practice MPTs and will receive valuable and extensive feedback on these assignments. The goal of this class is for students to have a strategy to successfully approach the MPT portion of the UBE prior to beginning their official bar preparation period. This early introductory exposure and practice is invaluable to strategically and preparedly entering the bar preparation period.
