Catalog description
This course examines the psychology of individuals and groups, including perpetrators, victims, and bystanders, during the Holocaust. We will look at the influences of bias and hatred with an eye towards understanding racism, nationalism, xenophobia, and intolerance. The course will explore the individuals and communities who exhibited resilience and moral courage during and after the Holocaust. It will also explore the Jewish response to tragedy and suffering before, during, and after the Holocaust.
