Readings include the Letter of Aristeas, Josephus, Iggeret Rav Sherira Gaon, Sefer Josippon, Sefer ha-Kabbalah, Crusade Chronicles and writings of the Spanish Inquisition. Attention is paid to the question of medieval Jewish attitudes toward the study and meaning of history.
