Review of basic arithmetical and algebraic skills. Topics include whole numbers, factoring, fractions, decimals, linear equations, word problems and signed numbers. Required of all students who do not pass the placement test or have appropriate transfer credit for mathematics. 4 hours. Placement by examination.
