Catalog description

Seminar on the identification of and reporting of child abuse; Adherence to agency policies and procedures from a social services perspective varying from institution to institution; identifying child abuse behaviors, and understanding the various forms of abuse: physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect; implementation of various strategies when identifying and reporting child abuse. Case presentations are current with Federal and local laws, state regulations, and treatment modalities within the various concentration areas within the Human Services Department. Current literature, resources, and local programming information shared with participant at conclusion.
