Counseling skills and techniques is a type of skills development and training practice seminar which affords students further study, enhancement, and/or practice of unique skill sets, techniques and knowledge needed within the specialized areas of concentration within the field of human services. Topics will address a specified area of study and review of trending and/or evidenced-based outcomes and treatment modalities such as, Motivational Interviewing, Case Management Training, Dealing with the Elderly, Facilitating Groups. and Multicultural Counseling Competencies.
