Catalog description
This course focuses on skills related to a Medical Affairs department in a pharmaceutical industry setting. Students will have the opportunity to develop basic competencies in medical affairs and clinical development at a large, global pharmaceutical company. Students will assist in the creation, updating, and editing of printed and verbal content for both internal and external audiences. Students will also be responsible for completing a research project of relevance to the company, which may include, for example, evaluation of a potential Rx-to-OTC switch opportunity, review of the competitive environment in a particular therapeutic area or authoring of an expert opinion.
