Catalog description
This course provides an opportunity for students to assess and implement various public health interventions and strategies in a pharmacy setting (community; clinical; non-governmental; etc.). Students will have an opportunity to collaborate with other health care professionals to improve the quality of, and access to, patient care using various public health interventions. This experience intends to prepare students to be critical thinkers; problem solvers and mission-driven collaborators when learning about pharmacists’ role in public health.
