Catalog description

Introduces students to the field of clinical sciences. Using a systems approach, students gain an understanding of diseases that require the direct intervention of a physical therapist. With its integrated approach to clinical problem-solving, this course focuses on etiology, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, prognosis, and management, including pharmacological treatment of common medical disorders encountered in both hospital and private-practice settings.
