Catalog description

The Geriatrics course will provide the student with the foundation needed to provide competent, compassionate care to the older patient. It will outline the attitudes, knowledge and skills required for successful care of older people. It will also provide the knowledge needed to recognize and address the special issues affecting the elderly. Prerequisites: None
