Prosthodontics Review Seminar

Catalog description

This is a seminar review course that involves prosthodontic case review. Students will present cases that occur in the clinic which will be reviewed and discussed. Treatment options and goals will be discussed. Students will need to present cases and treatment plans with the rationale for the chosen treatment. Discussion of additional techniques and alternative procedures such as immediate complete dentures, overlay dentures, implant supported overdentures, denture impression techniques, Complex fixed tooth supported prosthodontics, Complex fixed implant supported prosthodontics, and psychological implications of prosthodontic treatment and alternative occlusal schemes of complete dentures. This enables the student to broaden his/her scope of prosthodontic treatment for his/her patients.
