Catalog description
Students in this course will study the structural features of various groups of ancient organisms. It consists of a survey of important animal phyla with emphasis on marine and terrestrial communities, diversity, functional morphology, adaptations and the relationship between form and function. Paleoecological aspects include the interrelationship between organisms, populations, communities, and the environment. A laboratory component is included.
