Nutritional requirements throughout the life cycle, meal planning essentials, and evaluation of diets for adequacy will be addressed. Acute and chronic diseases having poor nutrition as a major risk factor for their development will be discussed. Nutritional self-assessment will be incorporated through anthropometric studies and dietary analysis.
