This course is the first of a rigorous 2-course sequence in calculus-based physics for all science and engineering majors expecting to transfer to a four-year college or university. It may also be taken to transfer to other college or university programs requiring introductory physics. It covers the topics of properties of matter, mechanics, oscillation, and waves.
