Catalog description

This course is to equip students with the foundational teaching skills and knowledge essential for effective training and education in firefighting and emergency response. This course covers instructional techniques, lesson plan development, and the use of effective communication strategies to engage diverse learners. Participants will learn how to assess and evaluate student performance through practical exercises and objective assessments while ensuring a safe and conducive training environment. Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, students will develop the confidence and competence necessary to deliver quality training that enhances the skills and capabilities of fire service personnel.. Lecture 3 hour per week.
