MU 3492. Vocal Pedagogy. Study of the anatomical, physiological, and acoustical processes of singing. Discussion of vocal function, sound and resonance, and recognition of voice concerns. Evaluation of healthy vocal technique and application of interdisciplinary principles to teaching singers of varied ages and abilities, including children and adolescents. Two lecture hours a week. Credit: Two hours.
