NURS 3804. RN with Families and Groups. Focuses on nursing's role with families and groups. Emphasizes aspects of health promotion and health maintenance with families and groups. Examines the developing family and group, family and group dynamics, impact of illness (disease) states, situational crises, the advocacy process, and the impact of politics on the systems. Limited to registered nurses. Prerequisites: NURS 3643 . Four lecture hours a week. Credit: Four hours.
