NFS 4103. Medical Nutrition Therapy I. Concepts of appropriate therapeutic nutrition as applied in the treatment of human disease. Prerequisites: NFS 3033 , NFS 3083 , NFS 3202 , and acceptance to the DPD program. Course content may include sensitive dietetics-related material. This course is part of the degree plan for the major of BS in nutrition (dietetics). As with all required courses, this course is contextualized and in compliant with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics requirements. The content prepares students for success on the Commission on Dietetic Registration Examination. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
