Catalog description

NFS 3203. Nutrition Care Process. Principles and techniques of the nutrition care process, including assessing nutritional status, practicing routine health screenings, identifying and writing nutrition diagnoses, and developing and implementing nutrition care plans. Introduction and practice of basic interprofessional skills, including values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, communication, and team values. Prerequisite: Majors in Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics. Two lecture and two laboratory hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
