NFS 2031. Food Microbiology Laboratory. Principles and practices of food microbiology, with emphasis on the basic microbiological skills such as culturing and classifying microorganisms, microbial enumeration, food sampling, and food preservation techniques. Prerequisites: BIOL 1113 and BIOL 1111 . Co-requisite: NFS 2033 . Three laboratory hours a week. Credit: One hour.
