MATH 1113. Fundamentals of Algebra. May not be used to satisfy any mathematics requirement and hours earned will not count toward any graduation requirement. May not be used for credit on any degree. Basic algebraic operations, linear equations and inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, factoring, exponents, radicals, and quadratic equations. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
