HCA 3123. Healthcare Finance. Basic principles of finance and financial management in a healthcare setting. Value maximization and the finance model of the firm, financial markets and securities, time value of money, risk and return, evaluating investment projects, and determining healthcare premiums. Analytical framework to evaluate healthcare financial decisions. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
