ENG 1003. Introduction to Writing. Topics and texts vary by course section. Contact the department for more information. Required of all freshmen who do not meet entrance requirements for ENG 1013 . Includes intensive instruction and exercise in syntax, punctuation, spelling, and vocabulary development. English 1003 does not satisfy any English core requirement, and hours earned will not count toward graduation requirements. Co-requisite: ENG 1013 . Three lecture hours a week.
