DH 4713. Applied Evidence-based Research. Application of evidence-based research to dental hygiene practice includes finding, accessing, interpreting, and applying scientific information. Professional Entry Accredited and RDH to BSDH non-accredited. This required course is part of the degree plan for the major of dental hygiene. As with all required dental hygiene courses, this course is contextualized in and compliant with the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The content is essential for accreditation and prepares BSDH students for success on the National Dental Hygiene Examination. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
