Catalog description

DH 3431. Oral Radiology Lab. Laboratory and clinical experiences necessary to produce quality radiographs, including communication and documentation, and to provide radiographic interpretation for common landmarks, pathologies, and anomalies. This course is part of the degree plan for the major in dental hygiene. As with all required dental hygiene courses, this course is contextualized in and compliant with the Commission on Dental Accreditation requirements. The content prepares BSDH students for success on the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination. Four laboratory hours a week. Credit: One hour.
