CSCI 4723. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Theories and algorithms of machine learning and artificial intelligence, with emphasis on how they are used to solve real world problems from diverse application areas. Searching, knowledge representation and reasoning, machine learning algorithms, and rule-based systems. Prerequisite: CSCI 3053 or CSCI 4823 . Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
