CSCI 3113. Fundamentals of Statistical Programming. Use of Statistical Programming to generate queries and reports, to access local data sources, to create user-defined data formats, to generate descriptive statistics and tabular reports. Reviews elementary programming techniques to solve problems related to data analysis, list reports, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis, data clustering, and data mining. Prerequisite: MATH 1713 or equivalent. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
