COMS 4463. Differentiating Communication for Complex and Deaf/HH Populations. Practices that support the use and efficacy of a continuum of communication methods for individuals with complex needs emphasizing the deaf/HH populations. Focus on features of various communication modalities, tools, and strategies to match methods to individuals. Prerequisite: Admission to a communication sciences program of study or teacher certification DHH program. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
