CHEM 4723. Environmental Chemistry II. Chemistry of natural and human-made waters, soil, atmosphere, and their interdependence. Topics include sampling, analytical techniques, quality control, water quality, treatment, contaminate behavior, and faunal significance in the environment. Project-based with a focus on analytical techniques used in environmental analysis. Prerequisite: CHEM 1121 and CHEM 1123 , or CHEM 1221 and CHEM 1223 . One lecture hour and four laboratory hours. Credit: Three hours.
