ART 3893. Sculptural Ceramics. Development and fabrication of sculptural ceramic form using primarily handbuilding, along with other methods. Preparing clay and surfacing materials, installation issues, mixed media, and kiln use. May include examples of artwork from a variety of identities, perspectives, and cultures. May be repeated once for additional credit with permission of instructor (up to 6 hours credit). Two lecture and four studio hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
