ART 3363. Character Design. Development of illustrated characters for an intended audience based on texts or scripts. Application of design principles, expression, and gesture to characters in model sheets and narrative scenarios. Study of examples of artwork from a variety of identities, perspectives, and cultures. May be repeated once for additional credit (up to six hours credit). Prerequisites: ART 1303 and ART 2223 . Two lecture and four laboratory hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
