ART 1603. Introduction to Photography. (TCCN ARTS 2356) A study of 35mm photography. Emphasis on technical and aesthetic aspects of historical and contemporary work. Exploration of social, political, and technological developments. Study of examples of artwork from a variety of identities, perspectives, and cultures. Appropriate for art and non-art majors and art minors. Two lecture and four studio hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
