Catalog description

This course will provide students with a sociological review and analysis of health and wellness topics. The course will enhance student knowledge of sociological theory and methodology by exploring a wide range of topics, such as societal understandings of health, illness, and wellness, health inequalities, demographic variables and their relationship to health and wellness outcomes, and a sociological understanding of healthcare providers, settings, and policies.
