This course surveys some of the major themes in Political Science and how they are explored in both classic and modern major motion pictures. More specifically, this class will explore three universal themes present in all modern of modern politics (man, the state, and human nature; how the state functions; the state and conflict). The primary goal of this course is to exercise critical thought while enjoying some of the best films Hollywood has to offer.
