This course introduces educational theories and practices in early childhood classrooms (PK-2nd). Art-based activities enhance learners’ creativity during learning. Teacher candidates are expected to design art-based lesson plans for their teaching demonstration. Topics include strategies for understanding children’s learning by creating a lesson plan, developing activities for diverse learning needs, designing classroom environment, and analyzing instructional materials and manipulatives.
