Catalog description

In this elective, the student will take part in simulation exercises at the ATACS (ultrasounc, EMR, laparoscopic high fidelity) with Mr. Aranda. The student will be part of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Team and will round on the Antepartum service during the week and attend High Risk and Diabetes clinics with Dr. Moore. There will also be weekly workshops with Dr. Lopez covering topics such as knowledge of surgical instruments, writing orders/hand-offs, and identifying emergencies on L&D.
