Introduction to Wilderness Medicine

Catalog description

Student will become familiar with the medical, administrative, and logistic topics considered essential for EMS. Student must demonstrate familiarity in the practice and care of patients of all ages and genders requiring emergency medical services. Activities outside of didactics subject to availability of local EMS services. Limit 1-8 students based on EP Fire Department availability. Available in October and April. Faculty: Dr. Popieluszko. (2 or 4 weeks).
