This course examines the concepts of organizational theory and behavior in healthcare environments. Learners will identify and apply leadership strategies to impact organizational culture and facilitate high reliability in healthcare organizations. Learners will apply quality improvement and patient safety sciences to promote healthcare systems that are safe, timely, effective, and patient centered.
